On December 17, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to unveil the 2025 Appropriation Bill to the National Assembly.
This announcement was made by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during a session in the Senate.
The budget presentation will occur in the House of Representatives Chamber, as confirmed by Akpabio.
He mentioned, “The president has made his intention known to the National Assembly to present the 2025 budget to the joint session of the National Assembly on the 17th of December, 2024.”
It is noteworthy that last Tuesday, President Tinubu submitted the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper for the years 2025 to 2027 to both houses of the National Assembly.
Additionally, Akpabio instructed the Senate Committee on Finance, National Planning, and Economic Affairs to review the MTEF/FSP documents and report back within a week.
