Man Apprehended After Stolen Lawyer’s Vehicle Leads to Dramatic Chase

On Monday, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, announced the recovery of a Toyota Corolla with the license plate ABJ 730 KE during an operation.

Police officers at the Masaka Division in Nasarawa State have apprehended a suspect named Sunday Bidemi for stealing a vehicle, acting on received information.

In a report from Monday by DSP Ramhan Nansel, it was confirmed that the officers retrieved a Toyota Corolla bearing registration number ABJ 730 KE during their operation.

Nansel indicated that initial findings showed the suspect took the vehicle back in October 2024.

He noted that the car is owned by Barr. Wilson Egwun, located in Wuse II, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

“Initial investigations revealed that the suspect took the vehicle from one Barr. Wilson Egwun of Wuse II, FCT Abuja, sometime in October 2024,” Nansel stated.

Furthermore, the Police spokesperson mentioned that the Commissioner of Police for Nasarawa State has instructed that the suspect be taken to court for prosecution once the investigations are finalized.
