Authorities in Adamawa State have detained three individuals for the suspected possession of illegal drugs.
The police announced on Friday that they acted on credible leads and conducted a raid on a criminal hideout in Malabu on December 18.
“During the operation, three suspects were apprehended, and items believed to be Indian hemp and other narcotics were seized,” stated the command in their press release.
The statement, which was issued by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, named the suspects as Shafiu Musa, Idris Mohammed, and Bashiru Nasiru.
