Trump Dismisses Musk’s Presidential Aspirations
Donald Trump, the President-elect of the United States, has made it clear that Elon Musk will never hold the presidential office. This statement comes in response to rumors suggesting that Trump might hand over the presidency to Musk.
His remarks followed the recent signing of a funding bill by President Joe Biden aimed at preventing a government shutdown. Just days prior, Trump and Musk had voiced their opposition to a previous bipartisan bill being discussed in Congress.
The relationship between Musk and Trump has been scrutinized, particularly due to Musk’s significant influence in political circles. Following a tragic shooting incident at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania, Musk openly supported Trump and has reportedly donated around $200 million to a political action committee backing him.
When addressing speculations in Arizona, Trump firmly stated that Musk would not become president, citing Musk’s lack of American birth as a key reason. “And no, he’s not taking the presidency. He’s not going to be president, that I can tell you. You know why he can’t be? He wasn’t born in this country,” Trump said emphatically.
Additionally, Trump criticized those who continue to propagate these theories, labeling them as a “hoax.”
