There are numerous films out there… Initially aimed to be a blockbuster for the holiday season, ‘Red One’ has not met its financial targets. With a production budget of 250 million but earning only about 150 million at the box office, it fell significantly short of expectations.
Despite featuring the highly popular Dwayne Johnson, the film struggled financially. Johnson left his role in ‘Jumanji’ for this project, resulting in an increased salary from 20 million to 50 million dollars, according to Puck News.

This marks a significant increase compared to his previous earnings from Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw ($20 million), Jumanji: The Next Level ($23.5 million), Jungle Cruise ($22 million), Red Notice ($23.5 million), and Black Adam ($22.5 million).
Moreover, reports have emerged suggesting that Johnson may have misused his authority during the film’s production.
‘Red One’, rumored to be one of the costliest Christmas films to make, features a cast that includes Chris Evans, Lucy Liu, and J.K. Simmons. It has caused its share of controversy since premiering on Prime Video, despite achieving high viewership rankings globally.
