Blake Lively’s Name Surfaces in Explosive Emails from Justin Baldoni in Ongoing Legal Battle

Justin Baldoni's scathing remarks about Blake Lively revealed in email amid legal feud

Justin Baldoni has accused Blake Lively of manipulating circumstances surrounding the film It Ends With Us, as revealed in a leaked email linked to his lawsuit against The New York Times.

The email, shared by In Touch, shows Baldoni’s dissatisfaction with Lively’s actions throughout and following the film’s production.

Baldoni criticizes Lively’s behavior during filming

The conflict arose after Lively, 37, filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, 40, and producer Jamey Heath, alleging sexual harassment on set.

Her accusations include claims of unwanted visits to her trailer, inappropriate conversations, and mishandling of sensitive scenes.

Both Baldoni and Heath refute the allegations.

In his lawsuit, Baldoni contends that Lively leveraged her complaint for influence over the film’s production.

He mentioned that Lively insisted on editing her own version of the film, which was then compared to his cut.

Despite his version scoring higher in audience feedback, Baldoni asserts that Lively pressured the studio to favor her edit.

“She was adamant that her version be made public,” his lawsuit claims, stating that Lively even involved the author of the source material to support her position.

Baldoni’s grievances were laid out in the email included in the lawsuit.

“Her actions are both calculated and erratic,” Baldoni explained to his publicist.

“She is fully aware of her impact.”

He accused Lively of trying to rewrite the narrative, excluding him from marketing and publicity efforts, and creating a narrative that painted him in a negative light.

The lawsuit noted that Baldoni was absent from the film’s premiere.

He alleged that Lively threatened to boycott if he attended, compelling the studio to organize separate arrangements for his team and him.

“He and his family were sent to a different theater… and told to exit quickly after Lively’s arrival,” the lawsuit outlined.

Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, suggested that more legal steps against Lively are forthcoming, indicating that Baldoni “definitely” intends to file a lawsuit against her directly.

Conversely, Lively’s attorney dismissed Baldoni’s allegations, claiming they are rooted in documented inappropriate conduct.

“This is not just a ‘dispute’ over creative differences,” her lawyer stated, labeling Baldoni’s actions as retaliatory.

The legal matter remains pending, with both sides actively pursuing their claims in court.
