Their former nanny, Rebecca Loos, insists she had an affair with the football star during his tenure in Spain. Now married with two children in Norway, she reflects on those tumultuous times in an interview with El Mundo.
Even after all these years, one talk show host remains etched in her memory: “It was intense. A host named Kiko Matamoros publicly labeled me a whore, saying he knew me. I had no previous association with him.” This was just a fraction of what she faced in the early 2000s: “Another individual claimed we had been intimate on Ronaldo’s yacht in Brazil, asserting I had been with all the players.”

From the start, Loos had a clear objective when becoming a nanny for the Beckhams: “My role was to care for Victoria, introduce her to Madrid, and take her shopping. I aimed to ensure she enjoyed her time in the city.” Gradually, her role grew: “I was often the first person they interacted with each morning and played a part in planning their day.”
Loos still asserts that she was David Beckham’s mistress while he lived in Spain, sharing that their first outing took place at La Bardemcilla, a restaurant run by Javier Bardem’s family. To keep their meeting discreet, she hid in the trunk of the car. Beckham allegedly threatened legal action against her for defamation.
When rumors of their affair began to circulate, Loos decided to take a stand: “I felt a surge of determination and defended myself on a UK talk show. This led to a series of interviews, snowballing the media attention.”
