American actress Denise Richards recently opened up about a distressing and mortifying experience she faced while participating in a reality show. The incident occurred when her breast implants unexpectedly ruptured.
The 53-year-old actress disclosed that this mishap happened during her time on the reality series “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test”, ultimately leading to her early exit from the competition.
The actress, recognized for her roles in “The Real Housewives” and other notable projects, is currently facing the consequences of this incident and must contemplate the future of her breast implants.

During a daring moment on a reality show, Denise Richards jumped from a bridge, leading to the rupture of her breast implants.
Her primary concern, however, was not about aesthetics but about the potential health issues associated with the incident.
Denise’s ex-husband, Charlie Sheen, shared that she initially worried the harness from the jump might have aggravated a recent hernia. Thankfully, no additional harm occurred.
“Years ago, I dealt with four hernias while filming Housewives. I was anxious the harness could harm me again, but thankfully, it was fine. There was some swelling, but it resolved without surgery,” she explained to Entertainment Weekly.
While the hernia posed no significant issues, Denise’s breast implants did not make it through the ordeal.
The show challenges participants with tasks like hostage rescue at sea, navigating ladders above cliffs, and plunging into frigid waters, all involving high-intensity challenges.
Denise faces choices about her breast implants
The actress revealed she hasn’t had adequate time to heal and will soon need to undergo surgery to address her implants.
“I’m set for surgery. I haven’t decided yet whether to replace them or remove them completely, but the existing ones need to be taken out,” she stated.
Even though her participation in the reality show was cut short, Denise proudly reflects on her experience.
“I’m proud of myself for taking the leap and jumping off a bridge; even if I couldn’t make it onto the helicopter, I’m glad I gave it a shot. I never thought I could manage that,” she commented.
Despite her early exit, Denise maintains a positive outlook, facing life’s hurdles with resilience and strength.
As of now, her decision regarding her implants remains uncertain.
