The 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) will feature an exciting host for this year’s event.
Iconic pop star Jennifer Lopez is set to host the ceremony on Monday, May 26, at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas.
Additionally, organizers have confirmed that fan voting concluded on Thursday, May 15, except for the categories of Collaboration of the Year and Social Song of the Year, which will allow votes until the first 30 minutes of the AMAs broadcast through VoteAMAs.com and the Instagram account @AMAs.
As mentioned earlier, the AMAs will collaborate with the Easy Day Foundation, a Las Vegas-based nonprofit dedicated to aiding veterans in their transition to civilian life, to highlight various special moments in the show that honor veterans while raising funds for numerous local and national causes.
JLo’s Comeback at the AMAs
Jennifer Lopez will make her hosting and performing return at this year’s American Music Awards, which will be aired live on CBS and available for streaming on Paramount+ in the United States.
This marks JLo’s second time in the hosting role after first showcasing her talents in 2015, where she opened with “Waiting for Tonight,” leading into a medley featuring 14 of the year’s chart-topping hits.
Lopez will join the ranks as the fourth solo artist to host the AMAs twice, alongside Lionel Richie (1984-85), Diana Ross (1986-87), and Pitbull (2013-14).
