Angelina Jolie is said to be looking to wrap up her prolonged legal disputes with Brad Pitt, expressing worries that the emotional strain has negatively impacted her mental and physical well-being, potentially leading to significant health issues.
The 49-year-old actress is reportedly alarmed that the ongoing negativity related to her conflict with Pitt concerning their French winery, Chateau Miraval, could have dire health implications—including the possibility of developing cancer.
“Angelina is deeply worried that this ongoing negativity could lead to severe health issues, including cancer. She has been reaching out to Brad through a mediator in hopes of reaching a peaceful resolution and moving forward,” said a source to RadarOnline.com.
Jolie has valid reasons for her concerns. In 2013, she underwent a proactive double mastectomy after discovering she carried the BRCA1 gene mutation, which posed an 87% risk of breast cancer and a 50% risk of ovarian cancer.
Ongoing legal battles persist amid Jolie’s desire for resolution
Jolie and Pitt remain embroiled in a contentious legal struggle since 2022 regarding the sale of her 50% share in the wine estate, Château Miraval, that they jointly purchased. Pitt initiated a lawsuit against Jolie following her sale of her shares to Tenute del Mondo, a subsidiary of the Stoli Group.
Pitt alleges that Jolie broke a previous agreement that mandated mutual agreement before either could sell their shares. He has claimed she acted out of spite and suggested that the sale associated the winery with a Russian oligarch, harming its reputation.
In contrast, Jolie‘s representatives argue that such an agreement never existed.
