Elin Nordegren was largely recognized as Tiger Woods’ spouse when they tied the knot in 2004. At that time, not much was known about her background as a native of Sweden, and she was not pursuing a notable career. In a 2010 interview with People, she mentioned, “I did some modeling in my younger years but never saw it as a career. A few teenage photos don’t make me a model.” Since separating from Woods following his cheating scandal in 2009, Nordegren has undergone significant changes, now embracing her role as a mother of six and a professional therapist.
According to The U.S. Sun, Nordegren became a licensed mental health counselor intern in Florida in 2018 and started her own practice, EN Therapy LLC, that same year. She attended Rollins College, where she earned a psychology degree in 2014.
During her graduation, Nordegren shared, “The Psychology and Law class was instrumental during the toughest moments of my life involving legal issues. It provided clarity and a sense of calm amid the chaos of my personal struggles.” This statement reflected on her difficult divorce, but Nordegren’s current situation is greatly improved.
Elin Nordegren enjoys a blended family life
Following her public divorce from Tiger Woods, Elin Nordegren began a new chapter with former NFL player Jordan Cameron in 2017. At that time, she was raising her two children, Sam and Charlie, while Cameron had a son, Tristan, from a previous relationship. Together, they welcomed three more children: Arthur, Zeta, and Freya. Their relationship seems unaffected by past tensions with Woods, who even congratulated Nordegren after her recent childbirth.
Tiger and Charlie Woods recently competed at the 2022 PNC Championship, where Tiger requested to acknowledge his ex-wife while addressing the cameras. Sportswriter Jason Sobel noted that they congratulated Elin after their tee shots.
Though Nordegren keeps her life private, sources indicate she is flourishing and has moved past the emotional turmoil from Woods’ infidelities. Their mutual dedication to co-parenting is evident, with an insider telling People, “They have put the past behind them and focus on raising their kids. Tiger speaks positively about Elin, and there are no grievances between them… The kids cherish both parents.”
