The renowned Brazilian model revealed her surprising pregnancy in October 2024, two years after her split from the former New England Patriots star, and welcomed her daughter, River, in February.
To maintain her child’s privacy, the 44-year-old and her partner, Joaquim Valente, opted not to share immediate pictures of the infant’s face online.
This changed on May 11, when she expressed her thoughts on motherhood via a poignant Mother’s Day post, explaining her recent lower public profile.
“I’ve been quiet, but have been fully immersed in life,” Bundchen shared on Instagram. “Sometimes, the most precious moments are those we keep to ourselves.”
“Recently, I have been cherishing the slower pace, meaningful relationships, and the lessons that come from being present.”
The mother of three showcased little River wearing a cute “I [heart] mom” outfit while cradling her on her shoulder, with Gisele smiling naturally in the sunlight.
A new photo reveals a loving family moment with Valente and Vivian hugging the newborn while Benjamin is positioned in the back of the quintuplet.
Notably, River remains unnamed and faceless in Gisele’s recent social media post, with her face concealed by a heart emoji. Gisele has a massive following of 23 million on Instagram.
Benjamin and Vivian are the children she shares with Brady, who also has a son, Jack, from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan. They were together from 2004-2006 until Brady began dating Bundchen.
Bundchen Reflects on Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day in 2025 is bittersweet for Bundchen as she recalls her late mother, Vania Nonnenmacher, who passed away in January 2024 after fighting cancer.
Vania, a retired banker, died at 75, leaving behind six children. She shared a strong bond with Gisele, often seen in photos with her.
“On this Mother’s Day, I miss my mom deeply,” Bundchen shared on Instagram. “Yet my heart is so full.
“Being a mother is my greatest gift, a journey that humbles and teaches me daily, filling me with gratitude.
