Kim Kardashian has achieved a significant milestone in her life, graduating from law school after an intense six-year journey. The founder of Skims celebrated this accomplishment by posting pictures and videos of the heartfelt ceremony on her Instagram page, which was organized by her family and close friends.
“You all have been part of my journey,” Kardashian expressed during her speech, thanking those who supported her throughout her legal studies that began in 2019. The event was a complete surprise as Kim thought she was attending a casual family brunch, only to discover that her loved ones had thrown her a graduation celebration.
At the graduation ceremony, Kim donned a gray sweater paired with a leather skirt, black tights, and white stilettos. In another clip, she sported a beige cap while holding her diploma and embraced her mentors, who showered her with accolades.
“Six years ago, Kim entered this program driven by a deep passion for justice,” one mentor noted at the event. “She didn’t take shortcuts or participate in master classes. It was all about hard work.” The mentor elaborated that Kardashian committed 18 hours a week, for a total of 48 weeks per year, amounting to 5,184 hours dedicated to her legal education.
She accomplished all this while raising her four children, managing multiple businesses, filming reality TV shows, and attending court sessions to advocate for causes she believes in. Kardashian has been candid about her struggles, openly sharing that she did not pass the baby bar exam on her first, second, or third attempts before successfully passing in 2021, marking a significant step in her goal to practice law.
A heartfelt and special celebration
At the celebratory lunch that followed the ceremony, her study materials were creatively repurposed as placemats, honoring the dedication reflected in each hour of study. Her five-year-old son Psalm donned a beige suit and tie, drawing inspiration from his late grandfather, lawyer Robert Kardashian Sr.. He was even spotted carrying a briefcase. Meanwhile, her seven-year-old daughter Chicago wore a black pinstripe suit reminiscent of the outfit Kim wore at Harvard in 2023.
Although she has not yet taken the final bar exam, Kardashian has successfully completed the multijurisdictional professional responsibility examination, paving her way toward practicing law in California.
This milestone shows that Kim is genuinely committed to her legal career, aiming to one day establish a thriving law firm. She has already made significant progress in that direction, motivating many to persevere despite challenges.
