In a candid interview with W Magazine, Sweeney discussed the demanding journey – and significant transformation – she underwent to prepare for her role as boxer Christy Martin in a soon-to-be-released biopic.
“My physique changed remarkably. I adored it,” she expressed. “I trained for roughly three and a half months. My routine included morning weight training for an hour, followed by about two hours of kickboxing at noon, and then another hour of weight training in the evening.”
Sweeney’s Remarkable Change
The outcome? “My bust expanded. And my backside became substantial. It was astonishing!” she chuckled. “I felt incredibly powerful, like a true powerhouse.”
Usually a size 23 in jeans, Sweeney noted that she surged to a size 27 during her training – a change that left her feeling more empowered than ever.
