“Taylor Swift never visited the film set, had no role in casting or creative decisions, did not compose any music for the film, did not view any edits, and only watched ‘It Ends With Us’ weeks after it premiered while she was on a global tour in 2023 and 2024,” stated a rep for the pop star.
The concern is that Taylor Swift’s name is being exploited to gain media focus for the lawsuit without a quick resolution in sight.
Conversely, Lively‘s attorney, Mike Gottlieb, voiced similar thoughts, believing that Baldoni is seeking publicity through Taylor Swift’s perceived involvement.
Travis Kelce has indirectly responded to the situation, fueling Internet theories by unfollowing Ryan Reynolds, Blake’s husband, on Instagram.
