Neither Meghan nor Musk addressed Brown’s comments. Although Brown is not known for being a staunch Meghan supporter, she has occasionally come to her defense, suggesting her comment may have been made in jest. Nonetheless, it echoed dismissive labels previously directed towards other royal women, hinting at social-climbing.
Harry’s emphasis on the responsibility of influential figures online indicates he shares widespread disdain for Musk. Thus, the tactless remarks about Meghan possibly attracting Musk would understandably frustrate Harry, although it’s clear Meghan is equally cognizant about the risks of misinformation.
