Super Bowl Showdown – The Kansas City Chiefs, featuring stars like Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, are set to compete against the Philadelphia Eagles once again in the Super Bowl, marking a rematch from Super Bowl LVII.
Aside from the game, many are eager to know if Taylor Swift, Kelce’s partner, will be present to support the Chiefs.
Taylor Swift’s Influence in Football
This season, Swift has been a regular at Kansas City’s home games at Arrowhead Stadium, but opted out of attending away games due to safety concerns.

Recently, it became clear that Kelce would not be at the Grammys with Swift, leading to speculation about her attending the Super Bowl.
“Travis Kelce missed the 2025 Grammy Awards due to practice with the Chiefs ahead of the Super Bowl,” said Adele Zilio and Eileen Reslen of Page Six.
Kelce’s priority is preparing for the Eagles showdown, which makes his absence logical. Reports suggested that Swift would not hold his absence against him.
“Sources confirm that Swift will be present at the Caesars Superdome to support her boyfriend and the team on February 9,” said Zilio and Reslen.
There was never much uncertainty about Swift attending the Super Bowl, despite limited and pricey suites at the venue.
She is expected to join the crowd when the game commences on Sunday, February 9 at 6:30 PM (ET).
Swift’s Safety Concerns
Her safety worries are significant. Besides general fan threats, Swift faced a credible threat last summer.
Since then, Donald Trump made negative comments about her, and Elon Musk, a powerful influencer, made strange remarks and shared altered images linked to her.
Given these incidents, it is no surprise Swift limited herself to home games, where her security team is familiar with the venue. However, this will shift on February 9, as the Chiefs aim to make history with a third consecutive Super Bowl win.
As reported by Page Six, Swift’s attendance is confirmed, although not officially announced. If true, it will be her first away game this season.
Ensuring Swift’s safety as a high-profile star poses challenges, especially during the dynamic Super Bowl environment. However, Kelce reassured fans that her security team is among the best.
“If I had pushed him, he’d likely have turned around and dealt with me,” Kelce remarked in 2023, referring to his security team. “They’re fantastic, trustworthy people.”
