On Monday, a man believed to be a suicide bomber was killed in Abuja.
The incident occurred following an explosion linked to this individual.
Reports indicate that another individual sustained injuries due to the blast, which is thought to have been caused by an improvised explosive device (IED).
According to AIT, an unidentified military eyewitness revealed that the suspect was killed by the explosion from a rubber canister near Mogadishu Barrack in Abuja.
Contrarily, military officials at the site suggested that the explosion may have been created by a mobile phone device rather than an IED.
As of this update, military personnel, DSS agents, police officers, and members of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) are actively assessing the situation.
