The Conservative leader emphasized the need for urgent action on immigration. Badenoch noted in her video, “Next year, two million immigrants could have the right to British citizenship, which is almost double Birmingham’s population.” She stressed the importance of her party’s deportation bill, stating, “We are dedicated to lowering immigration.”
On Tuesday, she introduced the “deportation bill” aimed at managing immigration levels.
Badenoch pointed out the advantages of the proposed bill, which includes “deporting all foreign criminals, enforcing age verifications, stricter visa regulations, limiting human rights legislation in immigration cases, making asylum support repayable, and denying permanent residency for those reliant on benefits.”
She emphasized, “We must enact this law to see real change. Labour needs to support it immediately. It’s time for a tougher approach. That’s what our deportation bill ensures. This country is a home, not a hotel.”
