Nigerian Woman Alleges Doctor Trafficked Her Missing Twin

Nigerian Woman Accuses Abuja Doctor Of Trafficking Missing Twin Says (via Primetweets)

A Nigerian woman named Eunice Bright has leveled grave accusations against a doctor.

She claims that a physician at Divine Rain Maternity Clinic in Abuja trafficked one of her newborn twins after delivery on June 11, 2022.

In an interview with Arise News on Friday, Bright alleged that Dr. Timothy Zeje told her and her husband that one twin had died at birth, handing the missing infant to his wife instead.

“On that very day, June 11, 2022, we arrived, and they performed another scan for me, which still showed twins. We tried to contact the doctor, but he was unavailable,”
she recounted.

Bright expressed concerns about the delivery process, mentioning that she received an injection in the shoulder instead of the typical spinal anesthesia.

She stated that she lost consciousness and when she regained it, only one baby was beside her.

“My husband started questioning them, asking, ‘Where is the second baby?’ They said, ‘The doctor informed us that there was only one,’” she explained.

She reported that her requests to see the remains of the second baby were rejected, with hospital staff claiming the infant had “scattered beyond recognition.”

Furthermore, she revealed that no remains were provided, and later the hospital asserted that her scan records were lost in a fire.

Weeks later, Bright visited Amak Hospital in Besa for her child’s vaccinations and spotted Dr. Zeje’s wife with two babies, one of whom she believed resembled her missing child.

“I was taken aback. Holding that baby, I thought, ‘Why does this child look so much like my own?’ I was in disbelief,” she remarked.

“I was perplexed, unsure of which child was mine.”

Initially, her husband was skeptical about her suspicions, but after listening to her full story, he committed to supporting her.

Bright pledged to persist in her quest to uncover the truth about her missing baby, despite facing financial constraints.

As of this report, neither Dr. Timothy Zeje nor Divine Rain Maternity Clinic have issued a statement regarding the allegations.
