The duration of Jamal Musiala’s absence remains uncertain, pending the results of medical examinations to determine the severity of his injuries.
But initial reports suggest that he may be out for 4-5 months during his recovery. According to Fabrizio Romano, the young talent suffered a broken fibula along with damage to multiple ligaments. While broken bones typically heal with a predictable timeline, ligament recovery could prolong his return.
Vincent Kompany, Bayern Munich’s manager, expressed his concern after the match, acknowledging that more information was required but feeling the gravity of the situation.
“It really didn’t look good,” the Bayern manager remarked. “The images indicate substantial damage to the ankle, but I’m not going to speculate on a diagnosis.”
