Jennifer Hudson Performs at March For Our Lives After Losing Her Family to Gun Violence

For many people, marching during Saturday's March For Our Lives demonstrations was a deeply personal act. Countless attendees, who showed their support for gun control all over the country, were victims of gun violence themselves, from the outspoken students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School to singer Jennifer Hudson. The Oscar winner tragically lost her mother, brother, and 7-year-old nephew in 2008 when they were shot and killed by her former brother-in-law William Balfour.

Like Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande, Hudson showed support for the cause by taking the stage at the march in Washington DC and belting out a stunning rendition of the Bob Dylan classic "The Times They Are A-Changin." With a gospel choir to back her up, Hudson's performance was easily one of the day's most powerful moments (of which there was no shortage). Watch it above.
