Weighty Connected L This show is really well-written, told, acted, and directed. What a worthwhile watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/25/24 Full Review noah g insanely goated zombie show, maybe one of the best ever Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/24 Full Review Phil H Although I am not a fan of horror movies, "Kingdom" is one of the best productions I've seen in a while. With a cast of very well-written characters, it tells an awfully relatable story about a disease getting out of control. It perfectly shows, how quickly an already terrible situation get several times worse. And despite all this, it gives hope that even in the worst case scenario, there are still things we can do to resolve even the most difficult crisis. I'm currently watching season 2, and can hardly wait to see how it unfolds. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/30/23 Full Review AaA a It's a travel to ancient Korea and a zombie movie. Mystery, suspens, emotion and blablabla. It is just a really good show. You should really watch it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/12/23 Full Review Lukas-Jeremie K Without a doubt, "Kingdom" can be praised on many counts. The biggest point is probably the sets - it's amazing what great sets have been built for this series that aren't extremely detailed either. The costumes, like the sets, are extremely detailed and look amazing. The make-up of the series is also commendable. The zombies actually look like zombies would probably look like if a zombie apocalypse suddenly broke out. Unfortunately, there are still a few points that I have to criticize. A big point of criticism on my part is the story, which is just too simple and predictable for me. There wasn't a single plot twist in the entire series that wasn't predictable. In my opinion, the series only works in its original sound. In synchro, the whole thing sometimes seems really overly dramatic and almost ridiculous. The same scenes work very well in Korean ones though. Korean acting is often very emotional. Therefore it is best to watch in the original sound with subtitles. Matt Zoller Seitz New York Magazine/Vulture As the epidemic widens in scope, unleashing tsunamis of sprinting zombies on the land, Kingdom turns into a mordantly funny epic about how large-scale governmental mismanagement is amplified by class inequities. Mar 15, 2019 Full Review Jae-Ha Kim Jae-Ha Kim "Kingdom" was released well before the coronavirus outbreak cause pandemonium worldwide. It's a sociopolitical series disguised as a zombie horror thriller. Rated: 3.5/4 Jul 28, 2023 Full Review Michael Cuby them.
