After months of speculation, Drake has finally confirmed he fathered a child and had a son with adult movie star Sophie Brussaux, in lyrics on his new album Scorpion.

Earlier this year, you might remember the beef that went down between fellow rapper Pusha T and Drake, when Pusha T released song 'The Story of Adidon' in May, which asserted Drake had a secret child that he was hiding from the public eye.

The lyrics read,

"You are hiding a child, let that boy come home. Deadbeat mothafucka, playin' border patrol, ooh. Adonis is your son.
And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that's real.
Love that baby, respect that girl. Forget she's a porn star, let her be your world, yuugh!"

And while Drake didn't respond to the claims directly at the time, he does address the rumours that he has a son in new track 'Emotionless', confirming he is now a father to a son, named Adonis.

Judging by Sophie Brussaux's Instagram, she welcomed their son in early October 2017 - meaning he was conceived in January 2017. The lyrics also reveal Drake only met his son's mother Sophie Brussaux twice.

Drake's revealing line in 'Emotionless' is as follows:

"I wasn't hiding my kid from the world/I was hiding the world from my kid.
"Breakin' news in my life I don't run to the blogs/ The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call.
"I had to come to terms with the fact that it’s not a maybe. That s*** is in stone, sealed and signed. She's not my lover like Billie Jean, but the kid is mine. S***, we only met two times."

Later, Drake also addresses what it's like to be a father when your son lives with his mother in a different country to you, adding:

"I'm out here on frontlines just trying to make sure I see him sometimes. It's breaking my spirit. "Single father" I hate when I hear it.
I challenged my parents on every album, now I'm embarrassed to tell them I'm a co-parent.
Always promised a family unit. I wanted it to be different because I've been through it."

TMZ say Brussaux, a former adult film star, was first spotted with Drake in Amsterdam in January 2017 around the same time he was linked to Jennifer Lopez. Five months later in May 2017, the publication say she claimed she was three-and-a-half months pregnant with Drake's child, and hired two attorneys to prove paternity and seek child support.

At the time, Drake's reps denied the claims, telling TMZ: "This woman has a very questionable background. She has admitted to having multiple relationships. We understand she may have problems getting into the United States. She's one of many women claiming he got them pregnant.

"If it is in fact Drake's child, which he does not believe, he would do the right thing by the child."

Guess that's what Drake's doing now, then.
