By now you've (hopefully) made your New Year's Eve plans, picked out your outfit, and plotted out your hair and makeup look. But we're here to help with the not-so-minor details. Nail artist and Sally Hansen's global color ambassador, Madeline Poole, shared this rose gold nail art design exclusively with Allure (you can only see it here, kids!) that not only plays off one of 2016's biggest beauty trends, but will also look pretty snazzy as you toast to the new year (and say sayonara to 2016).

2/6Step One
Paint your nails with two coats of an opaque white nail polish (Poole used Sally Hansen Color Therapy in Well, Well, Well).
3/6Step Two
Stencil the outline of a petal shape at the base of your nail using a striping brush dipped in a rosy-gold nail polish. Poole chose Sally Hansen Color Therapy in Glow with the Flow, which is a soft gold with pink undertones.
4/6Step Three
Mirror the shape on the opposite side of the nail and fill in both fully with your gold polish. Repeat steps two and three on all ten nails.
5/6Step Four
Once you've completed the design on all ten nails, finish with a layer of topcoat.
