Femi Falana Questions EFCC’s Arrest and Detention of Verydarkman

Prominent Nigerian attorney Femi Falana, SAN, is advocating for social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, known as Verydarkman, in opposition to the actions of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) regarding his arrest and ongoing detention, despite the ongoing legal proceedings.

This development was shared by Verydarkman’s attorney, Deji Adeyanju, who had previously voiced criticism towards Falana for not speaking out sooner about the arrest.

In a recent update on his X account, Adeyanju confirmed that Falana has reached out to the EFCC to contest Verydarkman’s detention.

It is noteworthy that Falana and Verydarkman are currently involved in legal proceedings concerning remarks about a voice recording that allegedly features conversations between Falana, his son Falz, and Bobrisky during Bobrisky’s time in custody.
