Acorn TV offering extended free trial for new subscribers

As viewers around the globe have taken to looking for alternate forms of entertainment to practice social distancing, streaming service Acorn TV, home to British programming for American audiences, is offering new subscribers an extended free trial!

Available as of now, any new subscribers who sign up on the official site and use the offer code FREE30 will receive an extended 30-day free trial, which used to be only a weeklong trial, allowing viewers to binge programming from the ever-growing slate of mysteries, dramas and comedies from both the United Kingdom and other countries.  

A sample list of the programming featured on the service includes:

The extended free trial announcement comes on the same day as Universal Pictures announcing that it will be distributing recently theatrical-released The Invisible Man and The Hunt, as well as Jane Austen adaptation Emma., on digital platforms later this week. The studio also announced that the upcoming animated sequel Trolls World Tour will debut in theaters and on digital platforms on the same day.
