The movie industry in Nigeria has over the years continued to witness the arrival of new faces and filmmakers who have immensely invested in the industry; aspiring actress and filmmaker, Empress Azeezat is one of the new faces ready to take the Nigerian movie industry to the next level.
The UK-based Health worker and philanthropist in a chat with our editor revealed her plans to support the Nigerian movie industry to ensure that it remains standing.
According to her, her long time desire and dream to join Nollywood and become an actress to be reckoned with in the industry was made possible with the help of Actress Opeyemi Aiyeola, who has been of huge help and support to her on this new journey.
Speaking further to Gift Adene of Kemifilani on her plans for the movie industry in Nigeria, she said: “My plans for the Nigeria movie industry is to support the industry as much as I can to ensure that it remain standing. You know the saying that, united we stand, divided we fall”
The proud mother of two who has not allowed her age and busy work schedule to deter her from pursuing her dreams in acting said: “acting has been a childhood passion for me, but could not achieve this early due to some stumbling block.
“I believe the Lord has blessed me with the talent and I want to use this talent to be part of teachers and educators to the world”.
Azeezat joined the Aiyeola group in 2018 and is set to drop her first movie as soon as the Coronavirus pandemic is over.
