[Article] 9 Nigerians at the Olympics‎ You Should Look Out For

Today, I decided to review an article for Primetweets concerning Nigerians at the Olympics in Rio. Go outside the shores of this country and what most people relate to, is our sporting athletes such as football, racing, high jump, basket all, boxing etc. These athletes have won various medals for the nation in times past.
These athletes remain handsome and beautiful even despite their tight musculus, check these athletes outside the field, court or track.‎ Check the list below!
1. Margaret Bamgbose 
She is a Nigerian track and field sprinter who specialises in the 400 metres. She ran the lead-off leg in the 4 x 400 m relay for Nigeria at the 2016 World Indoor Champioships. She placed third at the 2016 Nigeria Championships behin and thereby sealed her place for the Rio Olympics Games.

2. Uhunoma Osazuwa
She is a Nigerian track and field  athlete competing in the hepthalon. She represented Nigeria at the 2012 Summer Olympics but failed to finish the competition after recording marks in five events. She qualified for 2016 Rio Olympics in the heptathlon.

He is a Nigerian-American professional basketball  player for FC Barcelona Lassa of the Liga ACB, Lawal was Nigeria’s top performer at the AfroBasket 2015 . He plays the center position.

She is a Nigerian track field athlete who specialises in the long jump.   She holds a personal best of 6.68 m (21 ft 103⁄4 in) and is the African junior record holder in the event. Brume was the gold medalist at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. She won three medals at the 2013 African Junior Athlethics Championships and represented Nigeria at the World Junior Championships in Athletics in 2014.

He is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for English club Chelsea and the Nigeria national team.

7. Blessing Okagbare
She is a Nigeria track and field athlete who specializes in long jumping and short sprints. She is an Olympic and World Championships medalist in the long jump, and a world medalist in the 200 metres. She also holds the Women’s 100 metres Commonwealth Games record for the fastest time at 10.85 seconds. Her 100 m best of 10.79 made her the African record holder for the event until it was eclipsed by Murielle Ahoure in 2016. She was the African 100 m and long jump champion in 2010. She has also won medals at the All-Africa Games, IAAF Continental Cup and World Relays.

The Nigerian footballer is a striker for the Qatar Stars League club Al Arabi. He received his first call-up to the Nigeria national team in February 2014. He was selected by Nigeria for their 35-man provisional squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics.

9. Al-farouq Aminu
is an American-Nigerian professional basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He plays internationally with the Nigeria national basketball team. Aminu was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2010 NBA draft with the 8th overall pick. Aminu with the D’Tigers of Nigeria won the 2015 FIBA Africa Championship (AfroBasket) in Tunisia by defeating Angola.
