Korede Bello (born 29 February 1996)[1] is a Nigerian singer and songwriter presently signed to Mavin Records.[2] He is finest recognized for his hit single “Godwin“, a semi-gospel and pop music which topped many music charts in Nigeria.[3]

Early life, schooling and profession

Korede (English:“harvest”) was born inLagos StateNigeria, the place he accomplished his main and secondary college schooling. He began performing on the age of seven and glided by the stage title African Prince. While in main college, Korede Bello went on to jot down his first music after forming a music group with a good friend.[4] He began music professionally by recording songs within the studio whereas in secondary college, and finally launched his first single “Forever”. He studied Mass Communication on the Nigerian Institute of Journalism and holds a National Diplomacertificate. Korede Bello is an Associate Member of the Institute of Information Management.[5][6]

Mavin Records deal

After the discharge of his first single which obtained comparatively optimistic critiques, he was launched to Don Jazzy by his supervisor Casmir Uwaegbute after which they recorded some songs collectively which obtained Don Jazzy impressed.[7] On 28 February 2014, he obtained signed to Mavin Records beneath which he has recorded common songs like “African Princess” and “Godwin”.[8] He is presently engaged on his first studio album and cites Asa and 2face Idibia as individuals he attracts inspiration from.[9]
