“Owoh Chimaobi” popularly known by his stage name; “Zoro Swagbag” or “Zoro”, is believed to be one of the fast risen hip-hop stars from the East-side, Nigeria. He is a musician from Onitsha in Anambra State but grew up in Enugu State. He was born on March 20th, 1990. Zoro is an indigenous rapper who raps with the Igbo language.
Looking back to what he’s been unto in the music industry, he’s made waves with the songs; “042 (Enugu State of Mind), Otu (Onitsha State of Mind), Owu sa gi, Safe journey”, and his most popular song; “Ogene” that he featured Flavour and later did a remix on it with Lil Kesh, YCEE and Flavour attached. Most of his songs were produced by KezyKlef, one of the best music producers in Nigeria that is based in Enugu.
After the release of “Ogene”, he released a new single featuring Phyno, titled “Achikolo” and was also produced by KezyKlef. Zoro is currently a household name in Igbo Nation and he’s actually doing well in the game. He’s been trying to capture the Nigerian audience years back and now he’s got them on point.
