The United State of America is yet to recover from Hurricane Harvey that hit Texas more than a week ago and now there is threat of Hurricane Irma, classed as category 5 hurricane moving from Caribbean Islands towards the United State (Florida). As people along those affected areas are told to leave their homes and seek shelter before the Hurricane Irma hits.
Florida’s Governor Rick Scott has announced that a mandatory
evacuation notice will come into effect for all Florida Keys residents
tonight. He wrote on Twitter: “Every Floridian should take storm preparations seriously and be aggressive to protect their family. “There
is currently a mandatory evacuation order for all visitors in the FL
Keys- this order will go into effect for all residents tonight.
“We can expect additional evacuations as this storm continues to near our state. EVERYONE must listen to your local officials.
Hurricane Irma is passing through Caribbean Islands like Puerto Rico, north of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Virgin Islands and about 210 miles east-south-east of Grand Turk Island. With heavy rain fall and flooding, at least eight people have been killed so far as Irma brings destruction to the Caribbean. And it is expected to reach the southern tip of Florida before 8am AST on Saturday.
