Brielle Money was involved in a serious skateboarding accident, suffering “serious brain trauma and a fractured skull,” as Michelle Money revealed on Instagram. Michelle noted that, if Brielle hadn’t been found by their neighbors who happened to be on a walk, the outcome could have been very different. “This is the worst experience of my life,” the former reality star penned.
Michelle also had an important message for her fellow parents, which suggested why Brielle’s accident was especially bad. “ALWAYS MAKE THEM WEAR THE HELMET. ALWAYS. EVEN WHEN THEY PUSH BACK,” she advised. Michelle touched on this issue again in a different post, writing, “I hope this can be a strong reminder to make it your job to parent first. They will love you eventually. Keep them safe first. In all aspects. Put the helmet on.”
Thankfully, Brielle recovered from her accident and was released on April 24, 2020. “What Brielle has accomplished since she woke up from her coma is absolutely mind-blowing,” Michelle said about Brielle’s resilence. “Her ability to push through the pain and frustration of relearning how to walk, talk, eat, drink, get dressed, shower, brush her teeth etc. is beyond impressive to watch as her mother.” She added, “Bri’s speech therapist told us that in the 6 years she has been working, she has never seen a kid recover as fast as Bri has.”
We wish Bri the best with her recovery.
