BREAKING NEWS: Suplementary polls conducted in Kebbi State ahead of the 2019 General Elections revealed that the ‘Broom’ Party gave residents N3,000 as incentive to vote. The women of Kebbi State are now alleging that the money was used to buy votes.

Two female voters in Kebbi state spoke to media today alleging that they received money from a party they voted for in the supplementary elections. The Independent National Electoral Commission is conducting supplementary governorship, national and state Assembly elections in Kebbi and Adamawa states, as well as national and state assemblies’ elections in 24 states of the federation today.

The governorship supplementary election will be held in 142 polling units across 20 local government areas of Kebbi State while in Adamawa State, supplementary elections will be held in 20 local government areas to determine the next governor of the state between Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of the Peoples Democratic Party and Senator Aishatu Binani of the All Progressive Congress. Legislative polls will also be conducted in the state.
