Liar, liar, sequin pants on fire. Tom Sandoval’s denial of ever being physical with Raquel Leviss during their months-long affair on Wednesday’s episode of “Vanderpump Rules” was met with disbelief. When a producer asked him if anything physical had happened between them, he replied, “No, nothing has happened between Raquel and I. Like, nothing that wouldn’t happen between you know like, me and Katie [Maloney].”
The allegations came after several members of his friend group questioned why he was previously spotted hanging out with Leviss, 28, by himself at a bar called The Abbey. Sandoval, 40, denied “dancing all close” with Leviss in a “dark corner” of the bar and instead insisted that it was “a bunch of us” who went to the bar and “two of those people happened to be Raquel and I.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Sandoval — who had already shared at least one “magnetic” kiss with Leviss at the time — dubbed the allegations “funny” when a distraught Scheana Shay told him Maloney said that “Raquel’s now going after Sandoval.”
Maloney later defended herself after her words got twisted that Madix, 37, and Sandoval were in an “open relationship,” explaining that she meant the duo “don’t have rules for each other in their relationship.” She added that Sandoval is “very manipulative.”
Despite Sandoval’s several denials, Maloney, 36, and Lewber’s observations proved to be true. Madix discovered that her partner of nearly 10 years was having an affair with one of her closest friends on March 1 and subsequently dumped him. The aftermath of the dalliance — since dubbed Scandoval — has continued to play out both on-screen and off-screen and will culminate in the “nuclear” Season 10 reunion, which was filmed on March 23.
