Her name is not Bella Hadid.
A model walking the runway for the Diesel spring 2024 fashion show in Milan on Wednesday was mistaken for Bella Hadid, thanks to her striking looks.
After a brunette model with a similar vibe strutted down the runway to close out the show in a black bra top and low-rise maxi skirt, fans on social media were completely confused by the double take.
However, the doppelgänger in question was not Hadid, but rather London-based Dalton Dubois, whose Instagram has been inundated with commenters comparing her to the famous Hadid sister for weeks leading up to the show.
“The way I was scrolling and thought it was bella,” one person commented on a photo from February. “Literally thought you were Bella omg,” another said.
After a Twitter user pointed out, “Y’all that wasn’t Bella Hadid who closed Diesel, it was Dalton Dubois,” another responded, “lmao if i was that model who got mistaken for Bella Hadid, i’d put that on all my social medias, my cv, and make it my whole personality fr.”
A Twitter commentator joked, “We have Bella hadid at home,” before sharing a shot of Dalton on the runway.
One fashion fan tweeted, “the audience’s reaction cause they thought bella made her runway comeback at diesel last night and the whole time it wasn’t even her… you can’t deny her supermodel star power atp.”
“i’ve never seen bella hadid and dalton dubois in the same room,” someone else pointed out, calling it “curious.”

However, not everyone thought the resemblance was uncanny, with one person tweeting, “ya see any girl w high structured cheek bones and light eyes and think theyre bella hadid.”
Indeed, the sober supermodel, 26, took some time off from the runway as she underwent treatment for her Lyme disease.
While she shared a look at her first fashion gig back in action in August and has since modeled in an alien-like photoshoot for Marc Jacobs, the younger Hadid sister has yet to appear on the catwalk since October 2022.
