In her post, Curtis shared two images of Anderson sans makeup at Fashion Week while wearing a yellow gown.
“@pamelaanderson in the middle of fashion week with so many pressures and postures, and and and, this woman showed up and claimed her seat at the table with nothing on her face,” Curtis continued.
“I am so impressed and floored by this act of courage and rebellion.”
It wasn’t long before fans and celebs alike rushed to the comments section to echo Curtis’ comments.
“Beautiful,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards wrote, as “RuPaul’s Drag Race” judge Michelle Visage added, “And she was GLOWING 😍.”
“That’s pretty iconic,” Chelsea Handler wrote, before Selma Blair added, “Love this. Beautiful self-assuredness.”
Speaking about her decision to quit wearing makeup, Anderson said in August that the experience has been a “little rebellious.”
Anderson told Elle her newly makeup-free look came about to have more control over her appearance.
When Anderson’s makeup artist Alexis Vogel died in 2019 after battling breast cancer, Pamela embraced her bare face.
“She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup,” Anderson, 56, revealed.

The “Barb Wire” actress called the new look “freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious too.”
“I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks, and it’s just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite what everyone’s doing,” the Gen Z style icon continued.
“I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older. And I’m kind of laughing at myself when I look at the mirror. I go, ‘Wow, this is really…what’s happening to me?’ It’s a journey,” Anderson admitted.
