In an eight-minute film, the actor bemoaned the regrettable event that may have been prevented.
According to Mike, nobody should have to sacrifice their life in order to obtain their daily bread.
In his opinion, Jnr. Pope ought not to have agreed to travel across the lake without a life jacket, particularly in light of how inadequate the medical system is in the event of an emergency.
He went on to say how sorry he was for the Pope family, particularly for his wife and kids, who would never see him again.
Mike Uchegbu implored the Nollywood industry to stop making movies and insist on doing things well.
He went on to say that a lot of other people had died trying to make movies, and the reason this case got so much attention was only because Jnr Pope was popular.
The actor acknowledged that he understood that many of them were working hard in the industry to gain money, but that they needed to insist as a group that things be done correctly.
