Falz the Bahd Guy, a Nigerian rapper, activist, and film actor, shared how the nationwide strike by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) is impacting him.
The strike began on June 3, halting government operations and affecting many people in the country. Falz was in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state for a charity football match hosted by Super Eagles player, Troost Ekong.
He found out that the airport in Lagos was closed due to the strike while traveling back.
Despite being stuck in the South-South region with business in Lagos, he is okay with staying.
Falz supports the NLC’s demand to increase the minimum wage from N30k to N494k, calling it valid. He criticized the government in his dialect, calling them irresponsible.
