Pop star Justin Timberlake and golf legend Tiger Woods are teaming up to expand their business portfolio with a new venture in Scotland.
Building on the success of their sports bar in New York City, they are launching a second T-Squared Social location in the historic town of St. Andrews, Scotland.
Timberlake, 43, and Woods, 48, will transform the historic New Picture House Cinema into a luxury venue featuring cutting-edge sports simulators, bowling, and darts as reported by Billboard.
They plan to preserve two original cinema screens as a tribute to the venue’s storied past.
Legal Issues of Both Partners
An avid golfer, Timberlake has played on Scotland’s renowned golf courses and participated in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in 2019.
This collaboration news comes amidst Timberlake’s legal trouble following his DWI arrest in Sag Harbor, New York, in June.
He was apprehended for driving under the influence and charged with failure to stop at a stop sign and keep right. His lawyer, Edward Burke Jr., has promised to vigorously defend him against these allegations.
Despite the incident, Timberlake has resumed his Forget Tomorrow world tour. During his comeback concert in Chicago, he acknowledged the challenges he faced, stating, “I know I’m hard to love sometimes, but you keep loving me right back.”
Woods has also encountered legal issues, including a DUI arrest in 2017. Authorities found him asleep at the wheel with multiple substances in his system: Vicodin, Dilaudid, Xanax, Ambien, and THC.
Woods pleaded guilty to reckless driving and later shared on social media about completing a rehabilitation program and his continuous efforts to address his issues with the support of his medical team, family, and friends.
