Warning to Akpabio Issued by Shehu Sani Regarding Protest in Wuse
Shehu Sani, a former legislator, has cautioned the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, to avoid a specific route in Wuse 2, FCT due to ongoing protests by Nigerians.
Sani recounted a recent encounter with protesters in Wuse 2 displaying placards denouncing ‘hunger in the land’.
In a social media post, Sani shared his experience of passing through the protest where some demonstrators recognized him and permitted him to proceed. He hinted that Akpabio may not receive the same courtesy from the protesters and advised him to steer clear of Wuse 2.
The message from Sani read: “I just passed a group of protesters in Wuse 2, carrying placards against ‘hunger in the land’. Some ladies among them recognized me and shouted ‘No be that Afro Senator be that’, I answered ‘yes na me the former Senator’; then they responded ‘Oya pass’. Make Akpabio no pass there o.”
