Travis Kelce from the Kansas City Chiefs has opted to prioritize his NFL career commitments over joining Taylor Swift on her ongoing Eras Tour, with the next stop being in Hamburg, Germany.
Kelce is currently attending the Chiefs’ mandatory training camp in preparation for the upcoming season where the team aims to clinch their third consecutive Super Bowl victory, a feat never achieved before in NFL history.
After making appearances in various European cities, including London, Amsterdam, and Gelsenkirchen, Kelce had to return to the USA, leaving his girlfriend to continue the remaining shows in the tour, set to wrap up its Eurasian leg on August 20.
Despite the busy schedule, Kelce managed to surprise fans by appearing on stage at Wembley and even meeting the British Royal Family, an idea that he initiated and Swift enthusiastically embraced.
“I was just like, ‘What? I would love to do that, are you kidding me? I’ve seen the show enough, might as well put me to work here,'” Kelce shared on his New Heights podcast.
The Start of the NFL Season
Kelce’s season with the Kansas City Chiefs kicks off with a game against the Baltimore Ravens, airing live on NBC on Thursday, September 5 at 20:20 ET/17:20 PT, a rematch of the AFC Conference Championship clash.
The Chiefs emerged victorious in their previous encounter before eventually securing the Super Bowl win against the San Francisco 49ers at the Allegiant Stadium in Nevada.
