Law enforcement has been informed about the cloning of Governor Umo Eno’s WhatsApp number, as confirmed by Ekerete Udon, the Governor’s Press Secretary, in a recent statement.

The police are actively pursuing leads to apprehend those involved in the unauthorized access to Governor Umo Eno’s phone line.
Ekerete Udon, the Governor’s Press Secretary, raised awareness of fraudulent activity on social media platforms where individuals have duplicated the Governor’s WhatsApp number in an attempt to deceive the public.
He emphasized that the state government is aware of these deceitful practices and has alerted law enforcement agencies to take action against the perpetrators.
“Any messages requesting funds from these impostors should be disregarded as they are not endorsed by the Governor,” he cautioned.
