Established in Ho Chi Minh City a decade ago with a small team of eight, the company has evolved into a dominant force in the global content market, particularly on platforms like YouTube.
Right from the start, Sconnect embraced the task of producing high-quality content that meets the strict standards of markets such as the United States and Europe, rather than just focusing on the local industry.
“By adhering to the stringent content standards required by these markets, we mitigate the risks significantly,” says Mr. Ta Manh Hoang, the founder and CEO of Sconnect.
Over time, Sconnect expanded its services from basic content editing to creating advanced animation for kids, starting with 2D animations and stop-motion techniques.
The company’s dedication to excellence and its constant pursuit of new forms of content led to the successful launch of the animated series Wolfoo in 2018, becoming a cornerstone of Sconnect’s sustainable growth strategy.
As the company grew, it also expanded its intellectual property holdings, with plans to develop ten new IPs by 2024.
Sconnect’s commitment to diversity is evident in its wide array of language options, making its content accessible globally and garnering staggering viewership numbers, including billions of views monthly on YouTube.
A key challenge faced during expansion was the scarcity of top-tier animators. In response, Sconnect established the Sconnect Academy in 2021, now known as SAMA, to focus on nurturing new talent in animation production.
Within just three years, SAMA has trained over 3,000 individuals, all of whom found immediate employment, showcasing the effectiveness of its state-of-the-art curriculum.
Sconnect’s innovation extends beyond animation to educational gaming, with the development of over 140 games for children under eight, reinforcing educational values through interactive play.
These games have not only won over children globally but have also received endorsements from educational experts, including 54 Teacher Approve badges from Google.
With close to a thousand employees and offices in several countries, including Vietnam, the United States, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, and Hungary, Sconnect’s journey from a modest startup to a global animation powerhouse is a testament to its visionary leadership and commitment to excellence.
As the company continues to broaden its creative and educational horizons, it remains dedicated to elevating Vietnam’s animation industry on the global platform, establishing it as a crucial pillar of the digital economy.
