The film is both penned and directed by renowned American filmmaker Cristopher McQuarrie. Joining him in the cast are beloved actors like Simon Pegg, along with Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, and Tramell Tillman.

Tom Cruise has yet to win an Oscar
Despite his remarkable career, Tom Cruise has not yet received an Academy Award, placing him among other notable names like Ralph Fiennes, Edward Norton, Mark Ruffalo, Johnny Depp, and Willem Dafoe. Each of these talented actors has received nominations for their exceptional performances but has never walked away with the coveted award.
Cruise’s first nomination came for his leading performance in “Born on the Fourth of July“, although he was bested by Daniel Day-Lewis. He was nominated again for “Jerry Maguire“, only to lose to Geoffrey Rush. A further nomination for Best Supporting Actor came in 2000 with “Magnolia“, yet the award went to Michael Caine.
He received another nomination as a producer for “Top Gun: Maverick“, but it ultimately went to “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” Though Tom Cruise has yet to secure an Oscar win, his ongoing commitment to filmmaking suggests he may one day earn the Academy Award he rightly deserves.
