Tragic news emerged from Norman, Oklahoma, where the deceased bodies of twin toddlers were found in a hot car around 3 PM last Thursday. A relative reportedly forgot to take them to daycare.
Two-year-olds Ariel and Avery were discovered in a vehicle after local police conducted a welfare check. Sadly, both children were pronounced dead at the scene on W Brooks Street, according to the Norman Police Department.
The early investigation suggests that the children were unintentionally left inside the car for a long duration and were later found by family members, the police reported.
The infants’ parents indicated they had entrusted them to a family member who was meant to transport them to daycare but simply forgot.
This ordeal is devastating for the family, particularly in light of some hurtful remarks. I hope this clarifies that it was an accident and not something intentional, a relative expressed to KFOR.
The family is seeking privacy as they navigate through this extremely challenging period.
An investigation has begun, and a medical examiner will assess the cause of death for the twins.
Kourtnee Usey shared;
Funds raised will be devoted to providing these little ones with a fitting funeral, helping ease the burden on their father during this heartbreaking time, Usey stated.
Experiencing the loss of a child is a pain that is truly incomprehensible unless one goes through it. I feel for this mother and father in their time of grief.
