The National Examinations Council (NECO) has issued a warning about a fraudulent Facebook account that is pretending to be its Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Wushishi, cautioning that this account is being used to deceive unaware individuals.
This information was shared in a statement released to the media in Abuja on Sunday by the Council’s Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, Mr. Azeez Sani.
“The Council would like to inform the public about this imitation Facebook account to help protect individuals from becoming prey to these scam artists,” he stated.
Additionally, Mr. Sani confirmed that law enforcement agencies have been notified and measures will be implemented against those behind this deceitful operation.
