The excitement surrounding the upcoming 2024 United States Presidential Election is intensifying, particularly concerning celebrity endorsements for either Donald Trump representing the Republicans or Kamala Harris for the Democrats.
A notable figure in this drama is Taylor Swift, who has gained considerable attention following her successful Eras Tour, making this her first presidential election back in the spotlight.
Although many anticipated that Swift would endorse Harris, it wasn’t until Tuesday night that she officially made the announcement.
Travis Kelce‘s associates have expressed support for Swift’s choice, yet the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has remained silent on the matter.
The uncertainty surrounding his stance grows partly due to Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kelce’s teammate Patrick Mahomes, who has openly backed Trump.
Though Swift and Brittany have developed a friendship since Swift began dating Kelce, their relationship could be under pressure now.
Kelce’s Potential Response
Kelce has yet to comment on Swift‘s detailed post about her endorsement, but many fans, including the three-time Super Bowl winner’s managers, Andre and Aaron Eanes, have shown approval by liking her Instagram update.
Close friends and trainers of Kelce joined in on the support, along with Kylie Kelce, who is married to Travis‘ brother, Jason.
“The buzz around Taylor Swift is quite fascinating to me, as I’ve heard that Travis Kelce reached out to the Harris campaign upon its announcement expressing his desire to attend the event where [Kamala] was speaking,” noted CBS’ Gayle King during last month’s DNC.
It appears that Kelce supports Harris as well, but he may wish to make his endorsement official to quell ongoing speculation.
