Amber Rose has stirred up some controversy again by voicing her support for former President Donald Trump. Other celebrities, including Lady Gaga and Mike Tyson, have also backed the Republican candidate.
Unusual Claims
The backlash originates from one of the reasons for her support: Rose believes that Haitian immigrants in the U.S. are reportedly consuming the pets (like cats and dogs) of local residents in Springfield, Ohio.
Even though officials in Ohio have dismissed these claims, Rose remarked at LAX that social media showcases instances where pets went missing, implying that Trump’s statements must be accurate.
Officials Respond
City officials from Springfield have attempted to downplay the situation. Mayor Misty Buscher stated that pet consumption ‘is not an issue,’ while Ohio wildlife authorities have categorically refuted Trump’s claims as ‘false.’
Amber Rose, however, stands by Trump and rebuffs allegations of racism, asserting: ‘It’s not racist if it’s true and people are discussing it online.’
