Brie Danielson, twin to Nikki Garcia, shared a mysterious post on Instagram Wednesday, coinciding with the news that Artem Chigvintsev, Nikki’s former husband, was found not guilty of domestic violence allegations.
The post, which mentioned “lies,” has sparked curiosity, even though it did not name Chigvintsev specifically.
Brie posted, “The truth always comes out in the end, regardless of how desperately some try to conceal it.”
She added, “Lies only momentarily postpone what’s unavoidable.”
She later mentioned that the quote was sourced from a Facebook group focused on narcissistic personality disorders. Although Artem was not directly referenced, her post appeared just before he publicly commented on the resolution of the charges against him.
Chigvintsev, a former participant on Dancing with the Stars, publicly shared his relief regarding the dropped charges.
“I’m very relieved and thankful that the domestic violence claims against me have been dismissed,” he conveyed to E! News.
“It has been an incredibly tough period for me, and I’m grateful that the truth has come to light.”
Despite the case’s dismissal, uncertainties linger
Chigvintsev was taken into custody on August 29 due to a domestic situation at his Napa, California residence.
It remains unclear whether Nikki was the alleged victim, although a 911 call indicated that she might have been part of a disagreement with her ex before the incident, which occurred in front of their 4-year-old son, Matteo.
Chigvintsev reiterated that his main priority is his son, stating, “My focus has always been and will continue to be on him.”
Shortly after, Nikki, 40, filed for divorce from Chigvintsev on September 11, two weeks post-arrest.
In a statement, Ilona Antonyan, Chigvintsev’s attorney, expressed belief in her client’s innocence.
“The information regarding the incident from August 29 leads me to determine that Artem wasn’t the main instigator,” she remarked.
“I trust this statement holds true even under the family court’s standards of evidence.”
Chigvintsev and Nikki met on the set of Dancing with the Stars in 2019 and married in August 2022.
They welcomed their son, Matteo, on July 31, 2020. Although both Nikki and Brie have not revealed much about the incident, Brie’s unsettling post has ignited speculation regarding ongoing issues.
